Katsucon and the Snake

So, Katsucon is really fucking close now, and I'm so hyped for it! Last year was my first experience there, and I was completely blown away! This year should prove even more amazing, considering I'll be both debuting my new cosplay, Ayame Sohma from Fruits Basket, AND I'll be celebrating my birthday during the con! Well, my actual birthday is this upcoming Tuesday(February 12th), but since I aready know no one will notice or care, I'm gonna celebrate it during the con!

This Katsucon will be the debut of a cosplay that I never really thought I'd do: Ayame Sohma from the anime Fruits Basket. I'm aware that it's a manga, but due to factors I can't control, I can't read the manga. Anyways, an old friend first mentioned this anime to me about 8 years ago while we were hanging out at the local library. Little did I know that I'd wind up watching it years later. While watching it, I somehow gained a liking to Ayame, probably because of his overall character, but more so because of the fact that he has EPIC LONG HAIR! Yeah, I'm a sucker for long hair. Then, when I found out what he did for a living, that pretty much sold me on liking him as a character, and actually prompted me to want to do something similar. That said, I'm gonna have a ton of fun cosplaying this character! heh

As far as the con itself goes, I will probably be attending the formal ball assuming I can find a partner(because it's no fun dancing by yourself), but all in all this con will be fun as hell! Oh man, I can't fucking wait!!!
